Is it embarrassing that my most worn clothes of the past 4 years are wardrobe items I’d consider “soft clothes?” While my Zoom colleagues may see a cute top and earrings, my outfit is almost always balanced with either sweatpants or linen shorts – unless I need to leave the house. Striped tees are a wardrobe staple during both weekdays and weekends. Rather than go FULL athleisure, I’d love to step things up a little bit by investing in a few pieces that are soft, yet polished. (In other words, items that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to leave the house in). Here’s what’s on the wishlist: 

1. Sezane Pippa Dress in Dahlia ($160) // A friend of mine wore the black version of this dress to my house this summer with simple flat sandals and she looked so incredibly chic! There are lots of color options (sadly black is sold out in my size), though they’re going fast. According to her, the dress is TTS.
2. Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Ultra Lite® Culotte in Stone ($118) // Okay, admittedly I probably wouldn’t leave the house in sweats. But let’s be honest, I could really use another pair or two to add to my rotation, as my old pair is looking tattered. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about these cozy pants. This cropped fit looks perfect for my 5’3’’ frame.
3. Sweater shell in TENCEL™ lyocell blend in natural (on sale for $69.50) // Sweater shells are just as comfy as tanks, but look more polished. Perfect for summer Zoom meetings!
4. Boden Emma Long Sleeve Jersey Dress in Navy Rouge Stripe ($110) // A dress version of a striped tee? Say less! I love the midi length and A-line shape.
5. Marine Layer Swing Crew Tee in Rainbow Stripe ($48) // I wear striped tees at least 3 days a week. This color combo is calling my name!
6. Spanx AirEssentials Cropped Wide Leg Pant in Lapis Blue ($128) // Oprah named a Spanx AirEssentials sweatsuit as one of her favorite things. If it’s good enough for Oprah, it’s good enough for me!
7. Boden Ella Long Sleeve Breton in Ivory, Red and Party Pink ($50) // Another fun striped tee. I love the pink and red color combo and the sporty contrast stripes.
8. Tuckernuck Pique May Polo Dress in Yellow (on sale for $118) // I love this sunny, summery color and the ruffle hem!
9. Quince 100% European Linen Wide Leg Pants in Driftwood ($39.90) // These pants make me want to go full coastal grandmother. I’ve only bought a couple of things from Quince but so far I’ve been really impressed. 
10. Boden Hampstead Linen Shorts in White (on sale for $58.80) // Yes, these are the same pull-on linen shorts that I linked to in a previous post. There’s still a few sizes and colors left in stock!
