While most of my closet features vibrant colors and patterns, one of my favorite ways to balance a statement piece is with something simple in a neutral color like cream or white. Here are the vanilla colored fashion items that have been catching my eye lately, in hopes of warmer days ahead.

- J. Crew Drop-waist mixy dress $98 // I spotted this dress on Shea McGee and haven’t been able to get it out of my head since. Comes in petite (and standard and tall) sizing, too!
- J. Crew Factory Striped button sweater-vest $89.50, often marked down // This is so much more elegant than a tank, but just as breezy looking. Last I checked it was marked down to $34.50 but J. Crew Factory prices are always in flux.
- Boden Ali Jersey T-Shirt $58 // Okay this one was made for my wardrobe. A solid white tee with a surprise pop of color around the trim is exactly the type of white tee that I’m drawn to. So much fun!
- AYR The Deep End $125 // This oversized oxford looks like such a timeless piece. According to the size chart, it looks like my pre-pregnancy size may still fit even as I inch towards the end of my second trimester. The forgiving fit also seems like it would be wonderful for postpartum size fluctuations. Hoping I find a way to add this to my cart sooner rather than later.
- Quince Mongolian Cashmere Structured Cardigan $159.90 // I’ve spotted this on a few different influencers and am definitely intrigued.
- Tuckernuck Jelly Sandals in Ivory $75 // These jelly fisherman sandals are so cute!! Perfect for New England summers.
- Anthropologie The Colette Cropped Wide-Leg Jeans by Maeve $130 // This is the most comfortable style of jeans that I own so I’m tempted to try the white denim version as well.
