I’ve been watching lots of Instagram videos about “styling” your clothes versus just “wearing” them and it is incredible how in so many cases, the difference comes down to adding a belt, a layer, and a piece of jewelry. The belt makes SUCH a difference! (For example, this and this.) Layering with outwear is easy and practical here in New England, but my belt game is sorely lacking. I have maybe 1 or 2, and they’ve seen better days. Never mind the fact that my waistline disappeared weeks ago (hello, third trimester!), naturally all I can think about are belts. 

1. Edited Pieces Reversible Horsebit Belt ($120) // Is this not the most genius thing you’ve ever seen? Meant to sit at your waist, this belt is black on one side and cognac brown on the other with a beautiful horsebit inspired buckle. This brand was founded by Jean Wang of the blog Extra Petite.
2. Lauren by Ralph Lauren Slide-Buckle Leather Belt ($65) // So classic and timeless! I love the lack of holes / slide-buckle closure. Would look fantastic over shirt dresses or with jeans.
3. Boden Iris Snaffle-Trim Leather Belt in Leopard ($88) // Everyone needs a leopard belt! Love the buckle on this one. It also comes in other fun statement colors like red and bright pink. 
4. Anthropologie Adjustable Ring Belt ($78) // I love the classic O-ring shape. Also comes in black and leopard.
5. Anthropologie The Emerson Belt in Mint ($48) // How good would this look with white jeans?! This affordable belt is the perfect springy element of color to dress up an otherwise neutral outfit. Comes in several other neutral colors too.
6. Madewell Sculptural Buckle Belt ($68) // This simple yet elegant belt comes in a variety of colors. Anna Page wore the brown version in this incredible (bump-friendly!) pleated skirt/cardigan/scarf outfit.
7. Madewell Triple Metal Keeper Belt ($68) // This influencer-favorite belt is a best-seller at Madewell. Even a simple outfit of jeans + a white tee can look pulled together with this belt. 
8. Quince Sofia European Leather Skinny Belt ($40) // Budget-friendly retailer Quince tempts me again! Also available in white and black.
