I love sending and receiving holiday cards. This year I crafted a new holiday card display and I’m so pleased with how it turned out! The green striped ribbon is giving Ralph Lauren Christmas. Thirty feet of ribbon was plenty to drape around a standard sized doorway plus leave room for accent bows. Here’s how I put it together:

Materials:

• 30 feet of 1.5 inch green ticking striped ribbon
• Clothespins
• Large command hooks
• Hot glue gun

How-to:

1. To make the garland, I simply measured out how long I wanted the full garland to be and cut it to size
2. I hot glued each of the top two corners of the ribbon to a command hook. 
3. I tied two bows in a size that I liked and hot glued each bow to each command hook as well. 
4. I adhered the command hooks above the doorway and used clothespins to pin cards to the ribbon as I received them. 
5. Best of all, I can save the ribbon for next year knowing that the bows and hooks are already in the right spot.
