Lately, baseball caps have been my go-to accessory. Light rain? Throw on a baseball cap! Sun in your eyes? Throw on a baseball cap! Having a bad hair day? Throw on a baseball cap! 

The promotional Harpoon Brewery baseball cap that I wear to garden has seen better days, and I’ve been craving some slightly more elevated hat options to wear for a weekend neighborhood walk or errand run. These are the contenders for my next hat purchase.

How to Style Baseball Caps

Is it possible to throw together a casual baseball cap outfit without giving Adam Sandler? It all comes down to styling. Here are some easy outfit formulas that take a baseball cap from frumpy to chic.

Warm weather:

Cool weather:
