Summer Style Saves

Boston just had a scorching heat wave so breezy fashion pieces are on the mind. This summer I am craving easy, relaxed styles. Here are a few favorites.

  1. Nantucket Reds Collection® Ladies Short Overalls – Shortalls ($168) // I have been on the hunt for casual short overalls. Carly posted these and they are exactly what I’ve been searching for.
  2. Anthropologie Tobie Drop-Waist Midi Shirtdress by Exquise in Red/White Gingham ($198) // Longer dresses are great for toddler mom life because I am constantly bending over to wrangle. Jen Shoop shared this dress and I can’t stop thinking about it.
  3. SoldOut NYC The RSVP Dress in Black ($298) // This is the perfect LBD. Dress it up or dress it down. Another Jen Shoop rec.
  4. Nisolo Women’s Huarache Sandal 2.0 in Gold ($138 but there’s a 25% off sale going) // I have not had a pedicure in months and am in need of breezy shoes that cover my toes. Grace Atwood, Julia Berolzheimer, and Jen Shoop have all been spotted in gold huaraches lately and I’m loving their versatility.
  5. Frank & Eileen Eileen Relaxed Button-Up Shirt in Italian Classic Linen in White ($258) // This shirt is a splurge but I am convinced that it is one of those pieces that I’d wear into my eighties.
  6. Tuckernuck Crochet Cotton Asher Polo in Pink ($128)  // I love this summery top!
  7. Boden Highbury Pleated Linen Shorts in Meadowsweet Pink Chambray ($140 marked down to $83.30) // Bermuda shorts are having a moment. I would have fought tooth and nail against something so modest when I was younger so I am still finding it hard to believe that longer shorts are “in” with the younger crowd. But as a 36-year-old mom I think I might be ready. These sort of look like a skirt which is why I like them. As seen on Maura Mahar.
  8. Loeffler Randall Taryn Brown Jelly Flip Flop ($95) // I don’t think I could spend a hundred dollars on a pair of flip flops but I also cannot get these out of my mind.
  9. Gap Cotton Gauze Easy Barrel Pants in Neon Pink Glow ($79.95 marked down to $71) // I am loving the pull-on pants trend right now, and this Barbie pink number is calling my name.
  10. Tuckernuck Tnuck Sport Performance Seersucker Short Sleeve May Golf Dress in Light Green Gingham ($148) // I don’t golf, but this would be great for pickleball or hot neighborhood stroller walks.
  11. Ann Taylor Eyelet Blouse in White ($98 marked down to $49) // This is such a versatile top that would pair well with everything from denim to neutrals to colorful statement pieces.
  12. Nike Pacific Sneakers in Steam/Coconut Milk/Slate ($80) // A great minty color!
  13. Rhone Saltair Oversized Button Up in Citron Stripe ($148) // Grace Atwood shared this button up shirt that is made from moisture wicking performance seersucker. What a great top for summer walks! Also comes in a timeless navy and white stripe, as well as a chocolate and white stripe. There are matching shorts too.
  14. Old Navy Seaside Cotton V-Neck Cardigan Sweater in Wasabi ($49.99) // I love that this sweater is 100% cotton and will be keeping an eye on markdowns as we get closer to autumn.
  15. Solei Sea Indie Sandals in Cherry ($59) // In high school I had cheap Old Navy flip flops in every color of the rainbow to coordinate with my Abercrombie and Hollister tees. I kind of wish I had kept a pair, as flip flops are suddenly hot again. Red flip flops are especially in according to Kelly Williams, and these cushiony looking ones are catching my eye.
